I always like to visit the local library when I find out there is a book sale. Every once in a while, I find a book that I like, but most of the time I find what I am looking for in the magazine section. The last time I went to a library book sale, It was $0.25 for a one-year bundle of magazines. This time it was free. Needless to say, I have been enjoying reading “Popular Science” and “Popular Mechanics”, (Two of my favourite magazines) and I haven’t even got started with the “Scientific American” stack. Now they are 3 year old ones, but most everything is still interesting and applicable. I don’t know if I could say the same for the stacks of “Newsweek” and “New Yorker” magazines nobody wanted. Unfortunately it looks as if I was to late to grab the stacks of PC Magazine, but I hope that sometime soon I will find a free subscription to it on the internet. Nowadays it doesn’t really apply to me as much since I use Linux.
Book sales are fun, I sure don’t want to miss the next one!
